No offense to Jon Stewart, but Tim Curry’s G. Gordon Godfrey is literally the best satire of Glenn Beck I can imagine.

The same set, the same graphics (rotating “G” - perfect!), the channel is even “GBS” - which okay, Gotham, but still, perfect. Not to mention, the same fear-based rhetoric that’s clearly sowing the seeds of bigotry and mistrust. Presenting outlandish lies and conjecture as if they’re fact and then calling on the powers that be to deny them. I seriously want a batshit crazy blackboard in a future episode.

This show is so smart. If I had kids, I’d want them to be watching it. (Today’s episode was pretty epic… and now there’s an indefinite hiatus and I am sad.)
